A resounding success for Végo at Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert!

The Resto Végo team was present at the Salon Manger Santé (March 21-23,h 2014 at the Palais des Congrès de Montreal) to introduce our new identity, Resto Végo completely vegetarian, besides news of our refreshed buffet and a few firsts.

We offered tastings of three delicious salads: kale and quinoa salad, barley and edamame salad, rutin salad, and – an exclusive – our new Veggie Pâté house recipe and a hot sandwich with soy protein (both soon to be available in our restaurants). Our presentation was such a success that our samples of salads and veggie pâté vanished in no time. The visiting foodies gave us a lot of positive feedback and encouragement. We took the opportunity to thank them for their support!

On the final day of the event, our spokesman Joël Legendre and our guest chef Bob le Chef offered an entertaining cooking demonstration before a crowd of onlookers. They reproduced three Végo recipes – the veggie burger, the radish and yellow beet salad and our outstanding corn-based crème brûlée.

We were thrilled with the success of the show and the impressive work of the entire team of the Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert which welcomed more than 20,000 people over three days.
